IHOP launches NFL-themed menu

Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, the NFL has teamed up with International House of Pancakes to get football fans ready for the upcoming season. The restaurant chain has launched this week the "IHOP's Gone Totally NFL" promotion, which includes a football-themed menu and marketing campaign featuring Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald and Eagles QB Donovan McNabb.

IHOP's sponsorship with the NFL marks the first time the league has teamed with a national restaurant chain to promote football-inspired menu items. Available at participating locations now through October 25, items start at $4.99 and are available all day. The new all-pro lineup includes seven specific breakfast items, but the most delicious-looking meal is the AFC & NFC Stuffed French Toast (photo above).

The French Toast is a football-shaped version of IHOP's famous cinnamon raisin stuffed toast filled with a sweet cream center. It is grilled and served on top of either cool AFC strawberries or warm NFC blueberry compote. Sounds like an amazing way to start the day.
