EPL club reveals MJ statue

EPL club Fulham unveiled a statue of Michael Jackson outside of their stadium yesterday prior to facing off against Blackpool FC.

The Premier League side erected the statue to commemorate the late singer's friendship with the club's chairman, Egyptian business tycoon Mohamed Al Fayed.

Al Fayed says "people will queue to come and visit it from all over Britain and it is something that I and everybody else should be proud of."

The 7'6" statue depicts the King of Pop dancing with a microphone, was commissioned following Jackson's death in June 2009 and Al Fayed had originally planned to display it inside Harrod's department store in London, which he sold in May 2010.
