Putting all of his "Mama Drama" aside, LeBron James has something to celebrate heading into his first playoffs as a member of the Heat. Sales figures from NBAStore.com show that James has passed Kobe Bryant to take over the No. 1 spot on the NBA's best-selling jersey list this season.
This is the first time in seven years James has owned the top spot. Bryant's #24 jersey which now is second to James' #6, held the top spot since the beginning of the 2008-2009 season.
Rounding out the top five jerseys are Celtics G Rajon Rondo, Knicks F Amar'e Stoudemire and Bulls G Derrick Rose.
A few other jersey tidbits:
-5 Celtics -- Rondo, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Shaquille O'Neal -- rank in the Top 15 best-selling jerseys.
-The Lakers lead in team merchandise sales for the 8th time in 9 seasons and the Celtics are No. 2 for the third straight season.
-Rookies John Wall of the Wizards and Blake Griffin of the Clippers rank Nos. 10 and 11 respectively.
