NBA2K12's "NBA Greatest" Mode

Although the NBA lockout looks to have no end in site, fans can still watch (and play as) the best players in the league today in addition to Hall of Famers in 2K Sports' NBA2K12.

Hitting stores October 4, the new game allows fans to play in "NBA Greatest" mode featuring 15 historic teams and their best players, such as cover athletes Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson along with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, Patrick Ewing, Oscar Robertson and Julius Erving among others. "NBA basketball is about the history and the future of the game," said Jason Argent, vice president of marketing at Take-Two's 2K Sports. "We love the current game and are looking to optimize it."
