Wave control and Management
Wavecontrol is extremely important in this game and by just doing this right you can achieve a lot and set your enemy back in the game, for example pushing and freezing at the right instances to get leads.
Decision making in mid-game
Mid-game decisions like early towers often leave the map open for your team to join up to other lanes and assist them in getting towers, or grouping for objectives like an important dragon that should be contested with the enemy team or a low tower that can be forced onto with enough numbers, and pings to direct them all. This needs to be worked on a lot because it is the difference between a typical player and a really good player in League of Legends.
Learning about the game and having an edge over everyone

Dealing with the elo-prison, Diamond 5
Diamond 5 is a whole different beast to diamond in my opinion, it’s full of new diamond players, one-trick players that only played a single champion to Diamond, boosted players sadly, it’s actually true and players who don’t care plus players who are actually trying to climb. There is one group of players here who are definitely trying to climb in my opinion, yes it’s probably a big group but you’re still heavily outnumbered with all of these other groups of players sadly.
One-tricks of Diamond 5
Being a one-trick gets you a lot of flack in Diamond, but actually it’s a good thing because you’re good at 1 champion and you can compete. This is definitely one of the best ways to climb the ladder but then they get bored and they play new stuff and that’s really bad, the problem with this is that they are not as good as players in general as like those around them on other champions except their one-trick. They just know their champion extremely well when they swap to new stuff, they aren’t at Diamond level anymore and this happens a lot in Diamond 5. They lose a ton because they’re not playing what got them to Diamond.
Getting out of Diamond 5
So, to move out of Diamond 5, you need to play your best, you need to play hard and consistently and exploit those who don’t care, or tilted or boosted or just one-trick ponies who are playing different stuff. It’s actually a very dirty fight to climb to get out of Diamond 5, it kind of sucks but once you’re out it gets a lot better. You just have to abuse these players who don’t really care and are holding everyone else in Diamond 5 to get out of it.
